Connected MAP hose to Megasquirt.

Fused relay box.

Routed MAP hose through firewall.

Drew constant 12v supply wire to Megasquirt.

Removed old fuel pump and regulator.

Renewed battery cable shoes.

Noticed the air filter cover is sitting too low. Need to make it taller.

This 454TBI has 4 wire idle air control valve and 3 wire throttle position sensor.

Removed carburetor from the engine.

Made a hole in the air cleaner to mount the intake air temperature sensor. Closed element sensor is sufficient for naturally aspirated engine. Boosted application needs an open element sensor. Sensor has 3/8 NPT threads.

The Transdapt adapter had too small butterfly bore holes for 454tbi so I cut them bigger. Adapter plate has 1/4"-20 UNC threads.

Received tbi-to-carb adapter.

Mounted Megasquirt and relay board to the vehicle. Megasquirt went under the dashboard and relay board went to engine compartment.

Drilled a huge hole to firewall.

Disassembled the relay cable end and passed the relay cable through the hole. Then assembled the cable end back and connected it to the relay board.
